Travis' lizard tongue

Travis' lizard tongue from Candace Hanna on Vimeo.

I finally got a video of Travis saying words with "s" in them...Kevin has been reminding me that I should before he stops the whole tongue darting in and out thing. :)

Beautiful days

Sarah snaps a picture of Allyson on her bike...
Kaleb and Sarah became buddies...
Travis showing off his scooter skills to Nana Hoffert...
The kids had so much fun playing w/Sarah...she has a Mac program on her laptop which makes short movies of yourself...that's what they are doing in most of the pictures below. Kaleb put the white sticker on Sarah's forehead and made her "The Grape Queen". Click on this link to see a video of Kaleb!
Kaleb showing off his magic trick that Uncle Caleb taught him. The last picture is Kaleb losing his strength...lol :)

Praise the LORD!!!!!!!

Praise the Lord!!!!!!!! Today I got a call from my Dad, and he told me that Pastor Brown had just left their house and that he and Mom had both trusted Christ as their personal Savior!!!!!!! What a blessed assurance we have to know that all we have to do is to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and we can know without a shadow of a doubt that we will be with the King of Kings in heaven one day!!!!! Again I say....PRAISE THE LORD!
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for answering my prayer!!!!!

Dandelions

The boys, especially Travis, kept picking and bringing Sarah dandelions...so they became a photo prop. I think I'm going to make these pictures into 5 x 7 's and get them framed. Thank you, Sarah! :)

Cades Cove

The boys and Allyson were in paradise here! I can't wait for me and Kevin to take them camping up here some weekend this summer.
The drive up to Cades Cove...
And of course, Travis fell in the water...which I fully expected would happen! :)

Mmmmm...what is Travis pondering...?

Sarah is an absolutely amazing photographer. That is the reason for her traveling to the South from Iowa...to photograph a wedding in SC this weekend. She and Saundra made a stopover at my house on their way down to the wedding. Sarah took this picture of Allyson, and tomorrow I will post two pictures she took of each of the boys that are incredible!
This is two pictures blended together. One of what Travis is constantly doing...RUNNING! And the other is what he did on the way home in the back seat of Sarah's car...sleep... :)

before and after

I kicked myself when I got home because I forgot that Mama was in the old picture and I didn't have her in the new one. I think we have all changed for the better...

A FUN weekend!

Sharing laughs...listening to Kevin's entertaining stories...watching how far Wyatt could make it up the steep hill on Allyson's pink and purple bike...sticking suction arrows to Kelly's forehead...and grillin' hamburgers and bratwursts.
A very fun Saturday evening!

Steve and Kelly tryin' out "The Cuddler Recliner"

After Sunday morning services, we went to eat at Firehouse Subs. Then we had to say goodbye. :(
Hope to see y'all again soon!

Mera's Birthday

Thank you, Uncle Caleb, in advance for my birthday card. I haven't gotten in the mail yet, but I can't wait to get it and open it!
Thank you, Aunt Katie and Uncle Eric, for the two awesome books that you gave me. The monkey one is my favorite and I have the whole thing memorized (its true-Kristin).
Thank you Aunt Candace, Uncle Kevin, Allyson, Kaleb and Travis for the most bestest scooter in the world. I never thought I would get anything like that. I am trying to learn to ride it, but so far, Daddy rides it more than me.
Thank you, Granddaddy and Grandmother for the pretty outfits. I wore the beautiful dress to Easter morning service and I got so many comment. I know that I looked cute and I told people so. I have worn my pjs every night except one night since mama came home. My ducky is my constant friend in the bathtub. I need to get daddy to take a picture of it with me and send it to your email address.
Thank you everyone for the presents! I love everyone single one of you.
Meradeth Whitley

Happy Belated Birthday, Cotton Top

Sweet Candace,
I am not very good at making these collages, so it took me a while! I'm sorry that it's a day late, but I wanted to put some photos up so everyone could take a walk down Cotton Top Lane! You are such a sweet and wonderful sister, and an amazing mother, daughter and wife. We are all so glad we were able to spend a few days with you before your birthday and celebrate your turning 32!! WE LOVE YOU!!

This is a collage of the awesome fun surprise birthday party my kind family gave me while they were here! I got cards, money, a gift card, earrings, a necklace, a shirt, a UT purse, a UT rug, and TWO ice cream cakes! Thank you so much, fam!

Sunday 3/28

Here we are standing from youngest to oldest(left to right)...in front of the church that I was born into and attended until I was almost 11 years old.

This picture has a funny story behind it...doesn't it, Kristin? HAHA!
Why is she looking to the her left, you might ask?
This is the house where all of us Bentley children, except Katie, began life as newborn babies.

Then when I was about 7 or 8(correct me if I am wrong w/these ages, Mama) Daddy and Mama bought this house on top of a 36 acre mountain. Of course, a paradise for any kid to grow up in...but, we only lived here for about 3 years before we moved to North Carolina.
The breathtaking view behind us from the front deck of the house...
You can see it better here...
I have many childhood memories roaming and playing all over this mountain!
Side view...

Bunnell Family

These kids can play .
They played for the church a few months ago when they were visiting , and paster asked them to play a concert on good friday.
They are 5 siblings 4 girls and 1 brother. Their dad went home to the Lord in 2007 while serving in Iraq. The youngest is 16 and oldest 21.
The mom has health problems and paster asked if we would all keep them in prayer.
They were such a blessing with there music and strength in the Lord.

Good Times
