Welcome Caleb!

Caleb is now a member of the web community and can therefore participate in the blog and its activities. Lets all hound and nag him and until the blog becomes as much a part of his life as it is ours.

Play date

Hey! It's Woody and Buzz!
The kids had fun playing and making rice krispy treats w/Ben today at our house...Jean and I had fun talking. :)

Our broken down Acura is finally out of the driveway! A couple of weeks ago, a guy who works w/Kevin came over and towed it away.

Snowmobile

Here is a video of Kevin giving Kaleb a snowmobile ride around great Grandma Hanna's farm. This is the only time I used my camera while in Iowa.

Our Cabin in the Woods

This is our vacation cabin in Pall Mall, Tennessee: the home of Sergeant York. You park the car and walk over the bridge to get to the cabin. The house in the distance is also part of the farm where we stayed. It is also a rental and is the original house of the first owners of the farm. The main room of the cabin was built in 1832. The present owners added on a small kitchen and bath in the back. We had no running water the first three days of our stay, and daddy filled up a large bucket with the spring water for our daily uses. Daddy enjoyed playing with all of the toys and implements hanging around, inside and outside. The farm is 300 acres, and if the weather had been better we could have used the four-wheelers on the many trails up the mountain.

Hi, from Iowa

I know my blog activity has been quiet. My internet accessibility is limited. :)
The kids and I are spending our days and nights at great Grandma Hanna's farmhouse(that's where the pics are taken). We had a big snow when we first arrived here...the kids had fun playing in it! Kevin took Allyson and Kaleb on a snowmobile ride...I have a video which I hope to post soon.
Please keep Kevin and the rest of his family in your prayers. The Lord is wonderful, and we are so thankful to be here!
