Four Babies

These chicks were hatched from Allyson's incubator
From left to right, here are their names:  Chief Massasoit, Pip-squeak, Squirt, and Sunny
We will keep the hens and kill the roosters.  I saw one of them hatch, but I can't remember which one.
Love, Allyson

James and a little of Silas

James 2 from kevin whitley on Vimeo.

Some of this might be a little redundant. I didn't cut anything out.

It was so sweet to see Silas talking a lot...and James too!  :)
Meradeth, you are something;  Kristin, I can tell she tries to copy everything you do.  (Candace)

Union County 4-H Speech Competition

Tuesday, Allyson competed w/all the 5th graders in the 4-H countywide speech competition, and...you will have to watch the video to see how great she did! The last picture is the homeschoolers in 4-H...who, by the way, won most of the first place speeches. :)

outdoor efficient wood furnace - heats our home and water
Thank you for telling me how good I did on the poster!  I tried very hard to make it look nice.
Aunt Katie, I made the poster for the January 4-H poster contest.  Many other kids made some too.  (Allyson)
There are pipes that go under the house from the furnace.  And that is all I know, Kristin.  Hahaha!
We have had a little snow twice this winter.  Nothing that sticks or last very long yet.  (Candace)

Singing Meradeth:
I have watched that opera before; Meradeth, you sound amazing!  Did you do any warm-up exercises first?  (Candace)
Plant Food Project:
That is such a neat idea and looks so cute!  I will definitely try this w/the kids...maybe do it w/a playdate w/their friends.  (Candace)

Ok, so I don't know if I have told anything this, but Meradeth loves to sing. She sings all the time. She loves to sing really really high. One of her favorite songs to listen to is a song off of this musical called Phantom of the Opera. She will sit and watch it on you tube over and over. So she decided to record herself on the mac video trying to sing along with the song. I cut out this last part and wanted you all to see what a NUT she is.
