Sunday dinner

The Cope's came over to our house after church...we ate sirloin steaks, and Kelly brought over a delicious pound cake she had made! Of course, we enjoyed wonderful fellowship after the meal...and can't wait to do it again! :)

Cooling off at Lake Iowa

It was in the 90's today with high humidity...so we grabbed our floats and sunscreen and headed to the lake.

Then on the way home, Kaleb offered to treat us to ice cream w/his birthday money from Uncle Caleb. Yum! It tasted so refreshingly cool after our hot afternoon!

We missed our wonderful sweet Daddy who works so hard for us. :)

We went to a local farmers market in San Luis Obispo yesterday and was reminded why we don't go to this on very often . There is a sea of people for 4 blocks and you can't really enjoy walking because you are constantly trying to avoid running in to others. Mera can't walk in the crowd so I have to carry her most of time and we all have to walk single file to snake through the crowds . In other words it's just too crowded for our taste,but we did get some good peaches:-) There is another farmers market on Saturday and it is much much nicer.

Kaleb's baptism

It was also Old Fashioned Sunday at our church yesterday...so that is the reason for some people's dress styles. And on Old Fashioned Sunday the Preacher does the baptising in a pond at the park. That's Brother Joe, the preacher's son and our assistant pastor, who is baptising Kaleb...the Preacher is standing to the side.

There was a BIG dinner for everyone at the park after the baptism...Travis didn't miss out on that!

Then, since it was Father's Day...we took Daddy out for ice cream at McDonalds! Can you find Kevin and the three monkeys?
