Speech! Speech!

(homeschoolers)
Last night was the 4-H County Public Speaking Contest.  There were only two 7th graders competing, Allyson and her good friend Megan (standing in front of her in the photo).
Kaleb competed w/nine other 5th graders, and he won first place!
Allyson spoke about Anne Sullivan, and Kaleb spoke about George Washington Carver.
Since they won first place, they will go on to compete
in the 4-H Regional Public Speaking Contest on February 19th.

Another event I would have loved to have seen. You two are experienced public speakers by now. I hope one day to hear you both make your speeches.

Yea, I am so irritated. I live right here and I couldn't go. Next year, I am determined not to miss anything because of James. -Kristin

P.S. I LOVE the anniversary picture on twitter!
