Mama's milking

Daddy took these pictures. We have a good time doing this together. We got about 3 quarts today. Daddy did most of the milking because he is fast and can do 2 hands.

Yeah, milking both hands would be much faster...why don't you do it like that, Mama?

Not bad for a city girl, Mama. Your going to have to teach me how to do that one day. Do the goats ever get nervous or move around. Do you have to pick them up and put them up there? Mama, you need to take a video of Daddy milking now.
GREAT JOB!!!!

I have tried milking w/two hands but I squirt the milk everywhere except in the bucket. When I use one hand I hold the bucket closer up and can aim better. The goats do move around some and can kick the bucket also. They jump up on the milking stand by themselves and we have two stands and they know which one is the one they go on. They are like all animals, creatures of habit. They get down by themselves also. Daddy is a real pro. He said that cows are easier to milk. I couldn't have done it w/out him. I am going to make two cakes this week for Caleb and CJ and maybe somemore ice cream w/my fresh goats milk and eggs. Meradeth, grandaddy said that if I feed the goats some chocolate that when I milk them I will get chocolate milk. Isn't he funny.

Well, I guess you know by now that the last comment was written by me and I forgot to change daddy's name.

Dear Meradeth,
i like your idea about sending me a piece of chocolate. i think you better send me a 100 pieces of chocolate because i think i might eat some pieces before i feed them to the goat. what happens if the goat doesnt like chocolate? i think she might like strawberries, then we could have strawberry milk!!!
