Pictures and Videos

Pictures taken: garden work, view from the aerial tramway up to Ober Gatlinburg and then riding the chairlift up to the very top of the mountain (notice my face on the lift compared to everyone elses'), loading Honey Dew to take him over to James', plucking chickens, eating at Pancake Pantry (yes, where Bestefar always took us), Blue Ridge Parkway (Kaleb at Looking Glass Rock & Ally in the snow), hotel in Asheville, North Carolina.

Daddy and I sure had a good time watching your vacation week. I liked your expression on the chair lift. I would not like being on that lift. I know you were glad when that was over. Wasn't it cold on the water slide? Was the food still as good at the pancake house. What hotel did you stay in?

That sure was a fun vacation!
-Allyson, what was the part you liked best?
-Kaleb, what was the mostest funnest thing you did?
-Travis, what was the best thing you got to eat on your vacation?

I love you knuckleheads

I just watched the video. I loved it!!! Kevin's trumpet playing was wonderful. Could you see mount Pisgah? Kevin had me think of this verse next, John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Praise the Lord that His well never runs dry!! I have had such a good time enjoying the pictures and video of your vacation. I don't think there is a better state then Tenn.

Yes, I was glad when the chairlift ride was over, BUT it was SO worth it when we saw the view at the top! You had to ride the chairlift halfway up the mountain to ride the alpine slide.
Kevin said the water wasn't too cold...the day really got warmer later on in the afternoon.
The food was scrumptious at the pancake house!
We stayed at the Ramada Inn off of the I-40 exit at Candler.
We saw Mt. Pisgah...and the hiking trail that takes you to the top.
Wasn't it Graveyard Fields that we went to years ago and picked fresh blueberries?...we stopped there as well. We drove past Mt. Leconte according to the map, but I didn't see it or a place where you could pull over and hike to the top...where did you take us to the time we went there, Daddy?

To Grandaddy:
Allyson says, "I would have to say two things were my favorite...ice skating and the livestock auction."
Kaleb says, "Ice skating was the most fun thing I did."
Travis says, "Eggs, toast, steak, and ice."

oh i get it....
Kaleb likes to skate on the ice.....but Travis like to eat it

Allyson likes to see the animals but Travis likes to eat them.

well i think that vacation had something for everyone....Travis you need to start a scrap book on all the places you been and all the food you have eaten while you were there.

I can say that I honestly have enjoyed watching very few things as much as I enjoyed watching the video and the pictures. I LOVED LOVED it. I was smiling and/laughing the whole way through it. I loved seeing the ice skating rink where I skated sooooooo many years ago. Candace, you looked absolutely stunning in the pictures. Did anyone else notice that? You look like a model.

WOW, I absolutely loved the video/pictures! It makes me wanna load up in the car and head up there today to have some fun of my own. I think one of my favorite pics was Travis sleeping in his plate of food. :) Allyson you look sweet and beautiful as ever and Kaleb you're just a little handsome angel. Candace, you seriously look unbelievably gorgeous!
