The Whitley's sent us these suckers with REAL bugs inside. You have to lick a while to get to the middle where the bug is. Kristin said the kids in California eat these suckers all the time...bug and all, I guess. Today, Kaleb thought he would give it a go w/this cricket sucker.

Yes, I have one of these suckers as well. I have saved it as memorabilia rather than using it for temporary enjoyment. Did Kaleb eat the cricket?? If so, I wish you'd have snapped that up in a photo!
We have saved the suckers for a while too...showing them to people. But Kaleb really wanted to try one...he said he would eat the cricket also. The sucker's flavor is sorta hot minty...so he didn't quite make it to the cricket yesterday. We have saved it, and one day Kaleb will try to finish it. :)
Yea, I got one, one time to eat and I didn't like the sucker part. I think they are mostly for nostalgia purposes. (did I use that word right?)
If we remember we will bring some hotlix to Florida with us for everyone
Susan loved the idea of giving these suckers to people. Are the bugs dead before they are put in the suckers?
