Happy Belated Birthday!

Sweet Candace....
You are always so thoughtful and wonderful to all of us on our birthdays with your beautiful, creative posts, that I think it would be awful if we didn't put something up for you. You are such a wonderful sister, daughter, mother and wife, and I know everyone will want to write something for you to look back on as a reminder of just how special and precious we all think you are.

I remember....the face you made when you were playing your guitar, the way you always woke up no matter how quiet I tried to be getting out of bed, how scared I would get when you wouldn't break fast enough behind a car, following the pick-up truck (do you know what I am talking about?), taking my "knowing how to wash dishes test", watching you work with the old people at the rest home and admiring you, missing you so much when you went to college and most of all...I remember what a wonderful big sister you were to me...always. I love you so much. I think of you and your family everyday, so your birthday wasn't much different for me. Congratulations, you are one more year closer to seeing your Creator.

Ok, let me copy Kristin and do an "I REMEMBER" segment....

I remember your putting song books between our legs at church so you wouldn't have to touch my skin; I remember you smothering me with a pillow at night because you didn't like to hear my breathe; I remember...

Ok, I'm just joking with you!! You are the sweetest sister anyone could have, Candace. I am so happy I was able to spend your birthday with you and Allyson. That was so special. Kevin and the kids are so lucky to be able to be with you every single day!! I LOVE YOU!!

What can I say to such a sweet post?..."Thank you" seems not good enough. I didn't expect a birthday post for me! :)
It's so wonderful to have family and friends like you all!
I enjoyed reading through all the remeberences, Kristin(of course I remember the pick-up truck). ;)
I wish I had coveted our short time of youth together more, Katie...but I have alot of good memories too...the long chats at night is a cherished memory. And you were always SO sweet to me when I tagged along you and your older girlfriends. :) You were the best big sis a girl could ask for!!!!!!

The Lord Jesus is AMAZING, WONDERFUL, ALL Powerful,So loving and kind and thoughtful...He is the potter we are the clay!!!
1. HE creates a little sweet baby girl with hair that looks as white as cotton
2. for her protection HE directs her parents to keep her home for her schooling,
16. HE empowers her mother with the strength and determination to do the impossible --> teach her and her 3 side kicks all the way thru 12th grade while fulfilling all her other resposibilities perfectly!!!
4. for her enjoyment He provided her with 3 knuckleheads to play with at home
5. HE blessed her with a wide open country environment to grow up in
6. He made sure there were good Bible preaching churches everywhere she lived so she could learn about His great love for her as she grew up!!!
7. then HE watched over her every second of everyday until it was time for her to get saved.
8. He convince her she needed HIM as Saviour, He drew her, He gave her the faith to believe, His goodness then led her to repent and call upon HIM!!!!!!!!!
9. He raised up Pensacola Christian College so she would have a Godly place to grow into a Christian lady
10. Of course HE has this little boy He created just for her and he is growing up in Iowa at the same time she is growing up in TN & NC.
11. more....
12. more....
13. more....
14. HE creates a little sweet baby girl with hair that looks as white as cotton...they name her Allyson

22. To be continued....

Was there any bumps along the way? sure there were....only because of our rebellion though. HE could have accomplished the same thing a 1000 different ways...its up to us how many "shortcuts" we take that detours our life.

No matter the Lord Jesus never forsakes us!
