An ordinary evening at home

I fixed Candace's "Chicken and Rice" recipe. It is the best!!!! I would recommend it highly. I have brownies in the background. We had that for dessert with ice cream.

It looks delicious, Mama!...except after I clicked on the photo and viewed it larger, I could see the mushrooms in it!...yuck! :)
I love ur sweater, Daddy!
And, Mama, is that red bathrobe new?
This picture makes me homesick...I want to be sitting there. :(

Candace, the mushrooms made the meal sooooooo goooooood. In fact, I put a pound of fresh mushrooms in it. I got the bathrobe last year at a yard sale for $1. It looks brand new.

Ok, first of all...Why are you two so bundled up that you could be sitting in an Eskimo hut and still be warm? how cold do you keep it in there?
Secondly...that food looks absolutely scrumptous!! I cannot wait to make it this weekend for us to try.

MMMMMM mushrooms. I am going to put these recipes on the back burner and try them when I get a chance. Everyone like that pun? Daddy, that sweater looks like an old man sweater. Where did you get it?

I bought it at a courtyard sale at a nursing home, it was marked down 10% for freshmen senior citizens with an additional 10% discount for senial citizens with hearing and visual impairment. I qualified for all the discounts so I couldnt pass it up!!!!
