I will pick our zucchini flowers this year and try it!  I'm sure the recipe works w/squash flowers also?  (Candace)

That certainly is an interesting recipe. Does it taste similar to anything that I might have eaten.

Well, Mama, it did have a distinct zucchini taste...but I really can't think of anything that I have tasted that was like it. The melted cheese inside the flower just really set the whole taste off. I was watching a cooking show and the chef was picking some zucchinis in this ladies garden and he saw the flowers and told her that he could show her how to cook them too. The lady that I bought these from at farmer's market said that she puts goats cheese inside and bakes them. I would like to try that next time. I am not sure what nutritional value they have..if any. But they were good. -Kristin
