Sunday afternoon

Allyson went over to Jack and Cathy's house.  She had the best time!  This is Cathy's dollhouse.  Allyson said when she grows up she wanted her house to look just like Ms Cathy's house.  :)

Ms Cathy is a very sweet friend and I can tell by the smile on your face,Allyson that you had a wonderful time at her house. I think Ms Cathy's doll house is so pretty and cozy. I can picture it sitting in a grassy field with a pretty creek next to it and smoke coming out of the chimney. You would be in the kitchen taking a pan of cookies out of the oven. Of course it is an old-fashioned oven that heats up w/wood. I would like a house like that also, Allyson, if Grandaddy and I get to move to Tenn. You look so pretty in your dress.

Allyson, I just LOVE your dress!! You look so beautiful. I used to go to Ms. Cathy's house when I was a little girl too. I love the doll house and I think it would just be a perfect house for you when you grow up.

Is this dollhouse home made? I told Kevin that he is so good with making stuff from wood that I would love for him to make a doll house for Meradeth someday. I think I would like for it to look like this. SO cute and cozy. Allyson, it looks like you had a great time. When I was a little girl, I always had so much more fun going over to a grownups house than a kids house.

Ms Cathy said she would love to live in it too. Thank you for saying my dress is pretty. Aunt Katie, Mama told me that you and her used to go over to Ms Cathy's house. Ms Cathy didn't make the dollhouse but she made the furnishings. Ms Cathy just bought a Smart car, and now she would like to make a small size one to go w/her dollhouse. I think that will look so cute.

Dear Allyson,
One time i was over at Mr. Jack's house and he heard something scratching inside one of his ceral boxes in the kitchen. He grabbed the box and put it into the microwave and punched in a couple of minutes. He than took the box out and there was no more noise from inside the box, he then threw the box into the garbage.

Dear Allyson,
what do you think was in that box?

I would like a house like that doll house nestled right in some woods in the mountains with a creek running near it to a lake where I can fish . :-)

Grandaddy, I think there was a mouse inside the cereal box! I guess the microwave cooked it.

Dearest sweet Allyson,
you are right!!!...after it was cooked you could call it... "rat crispies" because it definitly had a snap-crackle-&-pop.
