Forty on Friday

I took Kevin out this morning for a birthday breakfast date at Mimi's Cafe in Knoxville. Our dear friend, Cathy Owens came over to babysit the three little knuckleheads. Thank you, Cathy! :) I'm going to be at a homeschooling meeting, we celebrated Kevin's birthday today. We had a lot of fun!

I had to post a picture of the lovely birthday gifts my two dearest sisters gave to me. The gorgeous blue earrings from Katie, and the beautiful silk scarf from Kristin!

It certainly was kind of Cathy to babysit. I know my darlings had a good time with her there. Was Cathy the substitute teacher today? Your presents are so lovely Candace and you look very pretty wearing them. Well, Kevin, what do you think about turning 40? I think that is still very young. Happy, happy birthday.I love you.

Dear Kevin,
I know you are going to have a Happy Birthday with all the blessings that the Lord has showered you with it would be impossible not to have a happy, joyful, rewarding, funfilled, exciting birthday. I was about 40 when i started working as the caretaker at the Crest Conference i know that 40 is sooooo young!!!! Moses was only 40 when he moved to his farm too!!!!

Happy Birthday, Kevin!! I am not far behind you!

Candace, you look so beautiful in your scarf and earrings. I think you get prettier every single day.

I think going to breakfast is one of the most fun "dates" you can have. Eric and I have just started doing that and we really, really enjoy it.

Happy Birthday Brother. Your so blessed to have such a beautiful wife and three amazing children. I think you should bet the age that you look and act and from the way you look I think you should be turning 34. We all love you.

Candace, can I just say that you are one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I have always envied your hair and skin. The scarf and earrings only help to enhance your beauty.
