Interesting read

Kristen has a language class and they are reading a book on the roles that men and women had in the 1920-30's, so her teacher gave them this paper, and you can imagine what all the kids thought about it these days. It was like a foreign language to them. They don't teach this in the schools anymore... Very sad!

Kristinah speaking, "The saddest part about this whole thing is Kristen said that her teacher passed it out as a joke and told the class that she gagged when she read it...Kristen thought we would laugh at it too and was taken back when she heard our reaction to it after we read it.

This reminds me of wives on the TV shows in the '50's...June Cleaver, Margaret Anderson("Father Knows Best")...the world seemed friendly and simple back then.
Back when there were teachers in the school like The Beaver's Miss Canfield. And it wasn't against the law to pray in school.

This writing described the way it was when I grew up. You almost never heard of a family that was divorced or of a mother that worked outside the home.
