Kaleb's Day

Kaleb went w/Allyson to her early morning dentist appointment. When I stopped to get gas, Kaleb got to have some candy and a soda from the gas station.

Then Kaleb watched Allyson at her daily swim classes...

After swim class we walked over to the elementary school playground...and these little cars were a big hit w/Travis and Kaleb. Travis reminded me of Barney on the Flintstones! :)

Then when Daddy arrived home from work, we had supper and Kaleb's favorite...BIRTHDAY CAKE!
The presents Kaleb received from Grandaddy and Grandmother...
A pogo stick from Aunt Kristin, Uncle Kevin, and Meradeth. A hopping ball from Aunt Kim and Uncle Jim, a big Tonka truck from Daddy and Mama...

Looks like he had a fun birthday from early morning to the end of the day. I think the cars they drove around in look like the most fun of all. I would have loved that when I was their age. When I was growing up I used to sit behind the wheel in bestefar's car while it was in the driveway and pretend that I was going places. Oh, the joy when I turned 16 and could drive. Isn't it odd how things that we can not do look so glamorous and when we get a chance to do that glamorous event it turns out to be humdrum.

Matthew Cannon gave uncle caleb and I a corvette car like that, it was a two seater and you drove it with your feet. We played with that thing until it was total junk. Kaleb, your day looked like so much fun! I cannot believe you are 5 years old. I wish I could hug and kiss you. Hope you have fun with your pogo stick.

Oh Kaleb, what a fantastic birthday it looks like you had! You are eating my absolutely most favorite variety of sweet tarts! Your Aunt Katie was a big loser this year and forgot to mail anything. But don't give up on me...I have a good idea on something to send you and I am going to get on the ball with it next week. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, cutie pie!! I love you!
