Allyson got to pick out a free kitty today out of a litter of four. There is a house which Kevin drives by on the way to work that every now and then has a sign in their yard advertising "free kittens". Well, today it was up again...Kevin called me from work and told me about it. So, w/out telling Allyson where we were going, the kids and I hop into the van and drive to the "kitty house". I pull in and tell Allyson to go pick out the kitten of her choice...after screaming w/delight...she picks the kitten in the above picture! Her name is Jane...well, Jane Speckles to be exact. :) As you can see, Allyson decorated her w/a purple diamond studded collar(which I picked up for 50 cents at Walmart).

Grandaddy has a grandkitty! :)

Oh my goodness...what a lucky little kitty to have such a sweet new owner AND a wonderful grandaddy!!
Jane is a beautiful kitty, Allyson. Grandaddy and grandmother would love to be there to play w/Jane.
Ohhh, Sometimes I wish I didn't hate cats so badly. I might be tempted to get one.
Congratulations on the new family member! We have had a kitty for many years and MOST of the time, it is great! Hope you have lots of fun with her Allyson!
