Our Thursday

Today was cool and rainy, so we decided to enjoy a long afternoon in our Williamsburg library.

Allyson put on her thinking cap and read some of her favorites...Curious George, Bob the Builder and Berenstain Bears. I'm reading about one of my choice topics...the Civil War and John Grisham's new book. If you look carefully, you can see the top of Travis' head above Allyson's hat.

Our beautiful little 1st grader.

Kaleb decided to go to another table...his "happy" sister and unruly brother were embarrassing him.

You guys are so cute! :-)
Ally, you are just beautiful and soooo smart! Candace, you remember when we were little how much we loved going to the library in Asheville? And we'd always beg Mama to check out those old movies? I think we watched every single movie they had at least ten times. Ha ha!!

Yes, I remember, Katie! :) I loved going down in the elevator to the children's books.
I remember Mama taking us to a small library in TN...down past that place where Grandaddy always took us for sodas when he visited.

I remember going to the library downtown and daddy waiting in the car for me to drop off a movie. Out comes a lady and doesn't pay attention and gets in the car w/daddy. She lets out a big scream when she realizes what she has done, jumps out before daddy says a peep.
