I think she has been ready for a while now, because it only took two or three times of pushing for her to get her balance. But Meradeth has been very apprehensive about taking her training wheels off. She is a pro at her scooter, but hasn't made the connection with her bike.

Whow, you sure can ride your bike like a big girl,Meradeth. Grandmother thinks you are so wonderful. I like your pretty hat also. Did you borrow that pretty hat from Grammie?
Dear sweet Meradeth,
Do you think you could ride you bike all the way across the country and come see me? If you do I will have lunch ready for you. Maybe you could let Silas ride on the back of your bike & when James is born you could get a basket and attach it to the handle bars and let James ride in the basket and all three of you could come see me on your bike!!!
gdddy loves Meradeth, Silas & James
Grandmother, I borrowed it from Mama instead. Grandaddy, I will try to ride my bike across the country. I just have to learn a little bit more from riding my bike. Well, if I get in a terrible wreck then I will hurt my head and my knees. I wanted to call the baby Charlie, but now I decided to call him James since mama explained to me that was your name. I thought your name was granddaddy. I love you, grandmother and granddaddy. From Mera
Good job, Meradeth!
I would like to have that grass in our pasture.
You look amazing on that bicycle, Meradeth! Were you nervous riding without your training wheels?
Can I borrow that hat from you some time? I sure do love you!
