You certainly are a wonderful helper,Allyson. You can do most anything that you set your mind to doing. I know Grandaddy would like to have you help him mow his yard.
Baking cakes, taming chickens, swinging on vines, playing the guitar and now mowing the yard.......is there anything you can't do Allyson? Where is that riding lawn mower you guys used to have..Did Mama sit on the front porch with a glass of iced tea and watch you?
Allyson did a beautiful job too! Then she made lemon squares for her and the boys. Still have the rider. I cut the boys' hair while my little helper cut the lawn.
Allyson, I think you need to come visit your Aunt Katie for about a few months!! I have all kinds of projects you could do. Also if you could have dinner ready every night when I get home from work that would be wonderful as well (including dessert).
You sure are a cute little thing. I want to hug you up and give you lots of kisses! I LOVE YOU!
Grandmother, I wrote about mowing the lawn for the first time in my diary. I would love to help Grandaddy! Aunt Kristin, Daddy is the only one that uses the riding lawn mower. He mows alot with it. Mama watched me for a little while until I got the hang of it. Aunt Katie, I would love to come and help you with your projects and make supper for you and dessert. The lemon squares I made were delicious. Do you like lemon squares?
Dear Allyson, I am so proud of you because you are so obedient. That is the main verse (Eph 6:1) that christian children should follow. That one verse will keep you out of MUCH trouble as you get older. The devil will try and get you to think your parents are just to demanding and that they are just too strict. When these thoughts come into your mind you will know that the devil is trying to deceive you into thinking your parents dont know what is best for you. He is relentless in trying to drive a wedge between you and your parents. Of course his goal is to ruin your life!!
