This is exciting. I was hoping for a boy but I thought it was going to be a girl. I don't see how anyone can make out anything on those ultrasounds. We are so thankful that James is healthy. I have been checking the blog constantly since 4pm. The last time was 4:57 and then nothing. Then daddy came home and I was cooking so he came upstairs and said that it was posted. I said not to tell me what he saw so I would be surprised when I read it. I sure would like to be there when James is born and hold him in my arms.
We just got back from the library. I ran to the computer...and see that I am getting a nephew! Woohoo! Soon Meradeth will have TWO brothers. Tell her to call Allyson if she needs any tips. :) Silas and James are close in age and will be best friends...that's so sweet. I am tremendously happy for the Whitley family!
Thank you everyone for your excitement. I was so wonderfully relieved when the technician took me through all his little body parts. I told James today that he has some BIGGGG shoes to fill with that name.
Well, this Grammie was so excited to be there with Kristinah and the kids to see James. My daughter Chandra, wants to call him JB because his name is sooo long. Sure would be wonderful Anne, if you could be here for James' birthday! Fran
Dear Kristin & Kevin, I am totally flabergasted that you would want to name your sweet precious baby boy after me!!!! I know you had mentioned it before but I guess I didnt think you were really serious about it. OK it has sunk in now and I am so honored that you all are doing this. A few people years ago used to call me JB... down thru the years some of the variations have been jim, jimmy, jimbo, james, BB, bentbrain, .... I like James the best. Little James' Great great grandfather's last name was Boone...so he will have 3 last names, that's pretty unique. I cant wait to hold my little name sake!!! What a blessing for him to be born into the Whitley family ...such a special loving family that has allowed the Lord Jesus Christ to lead guide and direct them in all their ways.
I am so happy to see little JB! Hahaha - that's what I am calling him!!! I just wish I could be there in December for the birthday!! I love you guys and pray for you often. Love, Sis

We were going to call him Jimmy, but we are now thinking we will stick with James.
Oh I am sooo excited!!! I had a feeling it was a little boy. Very glad he looks good and is healthy. Can't wait until he gets here!
