We feasted on plenty of delicious corn on the cob from our garden this season...we harvested over 250 ears.
I am using zucchini from our garden and making zucchini bread...the kids devour it as soon as it cools from the oven.
Kaleb has the best Sunday school class, taught by a husband and wife in our church. The two Sunday School songs he sings are my favorite.
In the next video I post, Travis wants to whistle some songs for everyone, which he is very good at actually.

Kaleb, I do not see how you remember all those songs from memory! And your voice is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard.
Ally, how did you learn how to play so good in such a short amount of time? Are you still taking lessons or is your Mama teaching you now?
I wish you could bag up about 1/2 the corn you harvested and send it my way! If I had a garden I think vegetables would be all I would ever eat!
Aunt Kristin is not feeling good today at all and when I watched this video it made me smile and feel so much better! I loved the music and it made me smile and want to sing along. Ally, your mama probably doesn't remember this, but she taught me how to play twinkle twinkle little star when I was young and I STILL know how to play it.
Great singing, guitar playing, and good food. Wish we could be with you all .
Kaleb, I don't see how you remembered the tune to the books of the Bible. Will you teach me when I come and see you? I said the same thing to grandaddy that Aunt Katie wrote. How did you learn so much in just a few lessons, Allyson? I bet you practice everyday. One day you will have to play your guitar and I will play the violin. I hope you freeze a few of those ears of corn for some visitors coming in Sept. I am looking forward to hearing your whistling,Travis.
Dear Kaleb,
What a wonderful thing to memorize...and you sing it so goooooood!!!
Dear Allyson,
You play like you have been playing the guitar for a year! I took trombone lessons for years and could only play jimgle bells when i quit...my piano playing wasnt much better.
Dear Travis,
i cant wait to hear you pucker up and whistle a tune like tweetie bird!
i love you all...gdddy
Aunt Katie, I have one more lesson next week, and then Mama will teach me. I practice for 30 minutes every day.
Aunt Kristin, I didn't know Mama taught you Twinkle Twinkle! I have three different version of Twinkle Twinkle that I play. I hope you are feeling better.
I would love to hear you play your violin, Grandmother. Do you get it out and play for anyone? Next time we see each other you will have to bring your violin.
Dear Grandaddy, I didn't know you played the trombone. I can't believe it took you years to just learn Jingle Bells. The next song I will learn is "Song of the Wind".
Allyson I would love if you could teach me how to play Twinkle Twinkle. Silas and Mera love to sing that song.
