Silver Springs

Approximately 1.5 hour drive from our house in the Ocala National Forest.

 

Saw these turtles on our glass bottom boat ride.

This gator followed our boat next to where I was sitting.

They had a few different animals here and I think the giraffes are the cutests. The 1930-1940s movies "Tarzan" were filmed here and a bunch of the monkies they used in the movies escaped and have lived there ever since.  You could hear them all over the place when we were walking.

Almost the whole place is covered in trees like this, so we were basically never in the sun the entire time. What a fun day we had!  Next time we are going kayaking at Juniper Springs.

Very Happy Birthday!

 I was given SO much I couldn't fit everything into this picture!!  I also was given a new tote bag and Eric gave me a new fun game he and I can play together.  Then he took me shopping and I bought some new capris and two shirts!

   

Stylish wallet and blue watch from Candace!  I already have my outfit picked out for tomorrow that I will match these items!  :)
