This morning I asked Kevin and Allyson what came to their mind when they saw these two colors. They both said the same answer! Do you know what is was?
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAA, I can't wait until Christmas. Of course, I don't know if it is what they said, but thats the first thing I thought of.
Well, I have to say that I never thought of Christmas. I was thinking more of biblical things. You know your mama girls, bah humbug when it comes to christmas. But once I read the comments, I thought, why didn't I think of that. So obvious.
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; This is the verse that I thought of when I looked at the red leaves. I really didn't have anything for the green tree but I did find this verse later on. Ps 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS and I am so glad that at least we celebrate something worthwhile on this holiday. Every year, I buy a few more decorations so that one day I will have tons of stuff to put up. Its interesting that when I ask any of the residents where I work, what they remember most of Christmas, they always say, "Remembering Jesus' birth or reading the Christmas story."

By the way, Candace, can I have your view from your kitchen window? My view is envious of your view.
Yep, Christmas is what I would say also! What a view, Candace...beautiful!

Yes, Kristin and Katie! :)
I bet you have a nice view also from one of your windows, Kristin.
