Here is a picture of our new (but very old) car. We own it though. We are now on step three of phase 1 in our mission to be debt free. Cant wait to get to Phase 2.
Phase 2 is: assassinate all of our debtees. ok, jk. We are in step three of phase one right now, which is build back up our savings. Phase 2 step one will be to pay off our Saturn. Step two will be to sell it for way more than its worth. :)
I am laughing hard now. I just posted my comment and I got to thinking that someone could take what I wrote two ways. I didn't mean that your first sentence(the joke) would keep you from unnecessary waste and spending but the real plan would.
No we aren't doing the Dave Ramsey plan. He has a good plan though. And Kristin is not pregnant. We would like to be out of debt first :-) There are so many things we would like to do,and we just can't yet.
One thing we would like to do is not fly anymore unless we have to. So we need to be debt free and save money and my vacation time so we can drive across the states to visit you all. And see the beautiful places of the US along the way. I love road trips ;-)

It is always good to have a plan. I think your plan is great and it keeps one from doing unnecessary and wasteful spending.
