Cades Cove
Allyson has been asking and asking us if we could go on a picnic...so, today we packed the cooler w/sandwiches and sodas and headed for the hills. We drove around the incredibly beautiful Cades Cove...saw the preserved cabins that the settlers lived in over a hundred years ago. Then on our way back home, we took some refreshing dips in the river.

That is gorgeous scenery around there! Looks like you had a super fun day. What did you do after you swam in your clothes?
Kevin and I held the kid's clothes out the van windows...they dried fairly fast. :)
I have never seen a prettier place than Cades Cove...I couldn't imagine living there!
Yes what a beautiful place. I would love to take my family there.
Love Travis' crack in the one picture. I love the South. TN has some of the prettiest places. So glad Kevin got to go.
