Two things I have truly enjoyed this spring here in Tennessee...are the gorgeous Southern Magnolia trees and the sweet fragrance of honeysuckle in the air!
We walked from our house to downtown Clinton today. This little town has more antique shops in it than I have ever seen anywhere else.
We ran(or walked rather, haha) a couple of errands today...to Ace and Walgreens. We were out walking for 3 hours today! Great exercise.
We stumbled into a treasure today! We discovered this classic old fashioned soda fountain shop! You can savor their delicious milkshake from one of those tall vintage soda glasses. We will definitely be coming back here...I can't wait to show this place to Kevin! :)

I would love to go to that soda shop.
I hope we have time to go down town while we are there. The kids look so cute sitting on the chairs. I can look at the ice cream at least. That is good exercise walking down there. You had a long climb getting home.
Did the soda shop have green rivers?? LOVE them !!!! My hometown had a soda shop until just a few years ago!! They are SO much fun !!! ( esp for those of us who remember them as a way of life not a novelty :O)
I wish we had done this while we were there!! Drat!!
I agree with you about the two things you like about the South. I miss the weeping willows. LOVED the pictures.
Those are Allyson's favorite tree, Kristin. :)
