Yum~Yum!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

DIRECTIONS

Season pork chops w/salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and then dredge in flour. In skillet over medium heat, lightly brown chops in oil.

Place chops in slow cooker, and top w/onion slices. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over chops. Cover, and cook on low 7 to 8 hours.

Preheat oven 200 degrees.

After chops have cooked, transfer chops to oven to keep warm. Be careful, the chops are so tender they will fall apart. In a small bowl, blend 2 tbs flour w/sour cream; mix into meat juices. Turn slow cooker to high 15 to 30 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve sauce over pork chops.

I love porkchops but mine always come out too overcooked. This is the perfect recipe for me. With the sour cream it reminds me of the chicken recipe. I love pork chops.

It is a very tasty recipe...we couldn't stop eating them! A good recipe when having company.
And living in pig country here, pork chops are very inexpensive. :)

Thanks, Candace. I tried looking this up, but couldn't find it, so I was planning on asking for the recipe.

Tried it and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We both absolutely loved it and I will definitely be making it again!
