I'm sure he won't look sweet with the lights flashing in your rear view mirror

I know! I know! But I'm not gonna say cuz Mama and I talked about this earlier today and that would be sort of cheating! I am laughing so hard thinking of this though looking at Eric's picture!!

Uh oh, watch out Clay County...Theres a new sheriff in town!!!
Well, we poke fun at you alot, Eric, but you know we are all so proud of you.
PLEASE take care of yourself. I feel sick sometimes thinking of you out there with all those bad people.

Yep, ur right Kevin!

Daddy, even before I scrolled down and saw your question at the bottom of your post, I was thinking of Barney Fife.
"Clay County, gateway to danger."

Eric, you sure have livened up our family! I'm SO glad you are going to join us...aren't you? :)

I told daddy last night that I don't like the thought of Eric being on patrol. He is so precious and sweet, and we all love him so much.
Do you have to ride in that car alone, Eric. When you stop someone do you have time to check their backround out before you get out of the car? Do you wear your bullet proof vest outside of your uniform at all times?
Let us all know how your first night on patrol went.

Dear Eric,
we appreciate you taking on the bad guys so this our world is a nicer place to live....
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Eric is our "highway missionary" that shows people the light when they need it....blue light that is

Thanks to everyone for all the comments. Some of them were quite entertaining (Jim). Starting back in patrol was great; I feel stress free again. It wasn't overly busy; I only made a couple of arrests but had fun meeting the rest of the guys on the squad and learning my new area.

Anne,
We usually only have time to find out the info about the tag which alot of times is not much help. I do wear my vest, but it goes under my uniform shirt.

Candace,
Yes, I am honored, glad and blessed to be joining your family.

Jim,
Is it Dragnet? I detected a clue in line 8 of your post.

grandaddy said...

yes Eric you're right it is Dragnet...It is so funny when it starts it shows LA and sargent Friday's voice say "this is the city, I am a cop, my job is fighting crime...."

Then he starts listing off the times, dates, and facts surronding the case
