I would never have recognized it, Mama! What a job that must have been sanding and refinishing that big dresser! ...and the handles look great! I've opened and closed those drawers many a time! :)
I hope you didn't throw anything of mine away that came out of this drawer. Looks great mama. You are a wonderful do it yourselfer. Love the color stain you chose. You need to take pics of the rooms in the house since they seemed to have changed so much.
This is the dresser we had growing up, right? The reason I'm asking is, for some reason I thought you were staining a dresser you brought back from Mormor and Bestefar's house. That's why when I saw this picture, I was sort of confused for a second.
I absolutely love the stain color you chose, Mama. I tried to stain something once and when it was finished, I became aware that my staining talents are even stronger than my painting talents. :-)
You are just good at everything, Mama. I don't think there's anything you can't do!!
Thank you for the kind words everyone. I have to say that daddy and I were so pleased with the way the dresser turned out. I always like to save money and have things look good also.

No, Kristin, there was nothing in these draws but blankets and pillows and old checks.
