The Audacity of Hope - a book written by Obama in 2006. The title was derived from a sermon delivered by Obama's former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. In his convention speech in Denver, Obama expanded on many of the themes in this book. The following is a line from the book:
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
Now people say what Obama is talking about is that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II...so he is talking about protecting American Muslims from undeserved bigotry.
Would Obama stand with us when we get in a bad way...even if it meant standing against his Muslims? ...or would he stand with Muslims against anyone...including us?
