Sunset at Guadalupe Beach

Here is a recent sunset at Guadalupe beach. I think most of you have been at this beach.I love going out to see the sun set here. There is usually not very many people and there are no buildings to see, just beach and ocean. We have a lot of fog right now so we will have to wait until June gloom is over to see some more  :-( Hope you all enjoy..     KevinW

What a look!

Can you BELIEVE this face? I just had to post it! Saundra Hoffert(Nana) took this picture of Travis in the nursery last Sunday morning. He really looks like he's getting away w/something and enjoying every minute of it, doesn't he? :) These dedicated ladies...Nana, Beth and others work in the nursery EVERY Sunday morning. It wears me out just working my one Sunday night a month nursery duty! Travis, I'm gonna kiss those lips!

An answer to prayer

For us to find another little puddle jumper(as Grandaddy calls it) has been on the family prayer list for a while. I have been looking daily at the city papers, Penny Saver, craigslist, and people's yards for a little gas saver car. We've been interested in a few cars, but it just didn't work out. And now w/gas hitting $4 and costing Kevin over $100 a month to drive the truck to work, we were hoping something would turn up soon. Saturday, we were going to go test drive a car that I found in the paper, and Kevin had called about. We did, and the car didn't pass our personal inspections on the test drive. :) Then we drove up the rode a ways and past a used car place w/the car pictured above parked in the lot...Acura Integra. The vin # history record and our personal test drive inspection of the car checked out fine. We hope it will last as Kevin's work car for many moons to come! If anyone wants to know the specs and other info about the car, feel free to give me a call and I'll share.

Allyson is throwing the football w/Daddy and Uncle Brandon at Lake McBride camp ground. We came out to see Papa who's camping out here for the weekend. Papa served us some fried chicken, chips and chocolate chip cookies. That's Travis over there exploring the territory. Kaleb stayed busy looking for things to throw into the fire.
